Will be back! Fantastic burger fantastic fries! Pitcher of Budweiser.. the little old lady is out here hustling serving tables alone and is the absolute sweetest! She was all alone doing it so I understand that it isn't gonna be a quick visit. But I didn't mind one bit!
It's a great hole in the wall divey bar and I am so glad I was able to check it out!! Will be back again and again and again.
The burger was basic but still pretty good. The fries were crisp, and the frito chili pie was my favorite of what I had. It's a cool little spot to get a burger and beer. The cheeseburgers and fries are terrific, and the tater tots were fun too. The hush puppies are huge and tasty.
We ate outside and our server was really great, kept all of our glasses filled and got our orders exactly right. It's a super place for a good lunch. Not fancy, just homey and delicious.
Kid friendly too! Dropped in from out of town for a quick late lunch. We had the cheeseburger and grilled cheese and bacon, which were delicious. And, although we ordered Lay's chips which were in extra large bags!
Nice atmosphere and good service. The server mentioned they'll be expanding the menu. We will have to come back the next time we're out this way. If I could give this place a million stars I promise I would! The burger, bbq, and fries were absolutely fantastic! The service was phenomenal so if yall are in the Nashville area, and want a little hole in the wall diner away from the hustle and bustle of the city life stop on in here!!
Best burger I've ever had! Fabulous, justifiably famous cheeseburgers! Thanks to GM Reno and the owner finally making the Diner accessible to my power wheelchair by building a Very nice porch and ramps! The best singer-songwriters and musicians play here, including Davis Raines, Pamela Jackson and David Conrad with special guest Russell Thompson when I went Sunday afternoon.
Come hungry, the burgers are a must have! Chili cheeseburger is my fav. Dog friendly on the outdoor deck. Good for the price. The food was awesome! Just don't buy a beer.
The price is outrageous.! The server was great. The band was great. Just be careful buying beer at 9 a piece. The draft cost me 7 and it was like 8 ounces of. Only drawback.. Great place. There is not a lot of variety on food. The waitress shyd me away from the patty melt.
It sounds good from the menu, though. Slide 1 of 5. Hot dog restaurant. Dream of Weenie is a hot dog stand that specializes in creative toppings for vegetarian weenies. They have a regular menu and a seasonal menu that rotates daily, although you can always depend on the Sunday brunch menu with an eggs Benedict weenie on it.
Suuuuper quick service and the weenies are DELICIOUS! We ordered the chili pimento cheese and the hashbrown casserole weenies. Both we so good! It's a cute, full service VW food truck 😋.
My husband loved his veggie dog! What a cute VW van! I recently visited "I Dream of Weenie," a charming hot dog stand in Nashville, and sampled their daily special, the Pizza Dog. This inventive creation featured a hot dog smothered in marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese.
The combination was surprisingly delightful, offering a fusion of classic pizza flavors with the satisfying bite of a hot dog. I also tried the Chili Slaw Weenie, a concoction with mustard, slaw, and chili.
While not my personal favorite due to a preference for traditional chili dogs with cheese, it provided a decent alternative for those seeking a different flavor profile.
The stand offers Ms. Vickie's Jalapeno Chips, a spicy and crispy side that complemented the hot dogs well. I opted to enjoy my meal outside in the adjacent lot, taking advantage of the picnic tables. The outdoor area proved to be a highlight, creating a delightful atmosphere, especially on a pleasant day.
It's a great spot for those looking to savor unconventional hot dog creations in a laid-back setting. Best hotdogs in town. With a fantastic selection, or build your own. Totally unique, in a cool old van.
With a nice, peaceful, shaded picnic table dining area. Dog friendly. Also bird friendly, the birds help clean up your crumbs. BONUS: Wet wipes! to clean the chili off of your fingers and face. Don't get to venture out to Nashville a lot, but, this place is always a guarantee stop!!!
I was introduced on a work trip and LOVEEE! HOW CAN YOU NOT! We were lucky enough to hit the brunch menu today. I had the Benny Weenie and has brown casserole. The weenie was super messy so go in prepared for a delicious mess. The hollandaise sauce was magnificent! The casserole was wonderful and creamy.
The guy taking our order was awesome as well. Overall it was a great experience! Very cool spot for a great dog! Even though I'm partial to Chicago Dogs, this is right on par. The hot dog I got was Frank and to the Point.
It was simply amazing; the bun was perfect as was the price. Yes, I am writing a review about hotdogs! My wife and I tried the Frank and to the Point and Dill Weenie at I Dream of Weenie in East Nashville, and they were both incredible.
The buns were perfect, and the decor and outdoor seating was a great touch. Staff was friendly. We highly recommend this spot for amazing hot dogs! Best hot dogs in Nashville and the surrounding area, probably the best I've ever had. Be sure to try the pimento dog and the Reuben dog if you're lucky enough to catch them.
I've not had a bad or disappointing meal here yet, and I keep going back for more when I'm in the area. The people working inside the truck are always happy to see new or returning customers, and the daily specials are always something to look forward to.
We tried several different hot dogs, and they were all delicious. The Rebel Yelp was a favorite. The pimento cheese is really good. Try it with jalapeños if you like spicy things.
Beautiful and cozy place, I love it. Ask for the hotdog with egg and cheese. My favorite. They have a backyard where you can enjoy your food. Literally so so delicious! The hot dog itself was insanely yummy and all of the different toppings were super good.
The bun is also marvelous!! Definitely a great spot to stop by! You will be so happy!! Chicken restaurant. Soul food restaurant. Southern restaurant US. The restaurant offers a variety of Southern sides and local brews, making it the perfect place to grab some food on-the-go.
If you're looking for something really hot, though, be aware that not all customers are fans of the heat level here. While visiting Nashville, we decided to stop and try Nashville's famous hot chicken - They did NOT disappoint!
We visited around Noon on a Sunday and while they were busy, we were able to find seating and the wait wasn't bad. They told us that some days the line is down the street so get there early.
The food was amazing! Only one of us was brave enough to try their "Shut the Cluck Up" spicy level - he definitely Shut Up, it was so hot.
They offered a decent selection of sides and the portions were huge. We'll definitely be visiting again. By far nicest staff I encountered while visiting Nashville.
Line was a little long but moved fast. I tired the chicken strips and hot chicken sandwiches. All the food was fresh and hot. The hot chicken sand was solid. Crispy too! I would recommend for anyone wanting some real good Nashville hot chicken! It's definitely a place to visit when you are in Nashville.
However, don't touch anything when you are at the restaurant, just ask the waiter they are nice, until In case you you didn't get plastic ware, didn't see a sign or no one attended to you, still don't touch anything.
If you do and they see it, they go from in a second and get loud. But the food was good and mild would be a good one to taste and enjoy the chicken. Trust me, the spicy will definitely numb your mouth and you will remember and will be reminded for days😂.
Phenomenal hot chicken spot that lives up to the hype. The chicken was perfect cooked and very flavorful. Got the sandwich and tenders. Personally preferred the tenders but the bread and slaw on the sandwich was great as well.
Their signature sauce perfectly accompanies the flavor of the chicken and their sides. Grits, Mac and cheese, and fries were all great as well.
Overall an awesome spot for fried chicken regardless of the fact that it's a chain. Definitely revisiting on my next trip to Nashville. Best Hot chicken in Nashville at this location specifically! Crispy skin and juicy chicken with classic southern sides. Expect a wait of at least a half an hour to even 1.
This place is everything right with southern hot fried chicken. I got the large dark meat hot with baked beans and fries. The spice level is perfect for someone who already has a tolerance to spice otherwise medium is probably what I recommend to most. Super delicious hot chicken at this place!
I came here at just the right time of day so there was no line. Also tried the Chicken Sandwich with a side of the pimento mac and cheese which was top tier yummy.
The employees were friendly and helpful and the place was clean. An institution. A flavor explosion in your mouth a mouth that burns from the heat.
A long wait. Worth it. Be patient, it will be the best chicken you've had. Man I wish I lived here so I can eat this chicken all day. This chicken will haunt my dreams for years to come. One of the best fried I have ever had.
According to some of the articles I have ready this is a must eat. When we got there the line was long and we were told the wait is about 1. Yes and people in-front of us was there for about an hour. Our curiosity made us stay and wait for that long.
It was spicy, crispy in the outside melts in your mouth juicy fried chicken. All the sides are so good! No wonder people line up for this place. I wish they can sell you their seasoning or sauce.
I know they ship you the chicken and you just have to fry it yourself. Great staff! And it was so fast at at night on a Friday night. But let me tell ya, I hide high HIGH expectations for some Nashville Hot Chicken.
I have a pretty high spice tolerance, so I did the HOT and it was phenomenal. Especially after a few drinks.. just what I needed! The grits… phenomenal. All of it… phenomenal. I want to go back already.
We had the orange creamsicle and it was good too! Except experience! Got the grilled tenders, medium with the greens and grits! Line was about an hour wait, but we got our food quickly and it was well worth it! If I went again, I'd get the got flavor. We got three pitchers of different drafts and they were good!
Service was pleasant. Chicken is perfectly seasoned and so juicy. We had the large white which was a big portion for 2 people. We also had a fried chicken burger which was so good. We tried the mild and medium spice levels and both were manageable.
For sides we ordered drinks fries- delicious, Mac and cheese which was also well flavoured, the grits I loved and some coleslaw which was good.
The chicken thighs were super juicy and flavorful, and the fried breading was very well seasoned. The spice levels also get very hot, so go for mild or no spice if you have a lower spice tolerance. The tenders are amazing as well! There was a line forming at 11 am on a Tuesday morning, but the service was still very fast!
The hype surrounding this restaurant is insane. Everyone from the area that we talked to suggested it and led us to think it was the be all, end all of Nashville Hot Chicken.
Such expectations are going to be tough to meet, but the mediocrity was startling. The chicken tenders were over cooked and dry, the Mac n cheese was mushy, the waffles were dense and hard to thaw point that we could barely cut through them.
We could see how the food would normally be good, but there was so little care given to the cooking of our order that it was beyond disappointing. What saves the place from a lower rating is the solid service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and pleasant. The atmosphere is fun and the decor unique.
If only the food had matched that. Live music bar. The prototypical honky-tonk, Robert's Western World, attracts fans with its live country bands, cold beer, and fried bologna sandwiches. This old-school spot on Broadway offers a deep and welcoming ambiance.
It is dedicated to serving cheap drinks, country music, and the signature five-dollar Recession Special - a fried bologna sandwich with chips and a cold PBR beer.
Saw their menu decided to see how good the recession special really was. It's alright of course nothing crazy, but it's worth the price if you are in need of something quick to eat and a drink. Great live music and atmosphere. Visiting this place was the highlight of my trip to Nashville.
The fried bologna sandwich was excellent and the beer was cheap. The band was playing actual country music, which you will not find at the other bars on this street. They were incredibly talented and a lot of fun to watch. If I am ever back in town this will be one of my first stops and I'll probably come more than once.
RWW is a classic staple of Broadway in downtown Nashville. The same awesome band has played from pm for years. It's an older, more mature crowd, but has much more authentic vibes and it's always packed.
Toward the front there's a cash-only bar to get a quick beer so you don't have to wait in line at the main bar. This place is always worth stopping in when you start your night on the town!
It was super busy but the bartender still payed us close attention. Best drink I had in town all weekend and at the best price. Hahaha but we had a great time. Best value on Broadway. Great place, super fun! Do your best to sit at the downstairs bar. Speaking of sandwich… try the fried Bologna sandwich.
The music never disappoints. It was cute. They have boots lined up all on the back side of the wall, plenty of seating and a small griddle grill on the opposite wall.
Service was good. I wish I would have tried their fried bologna sandwich. I liked this place. Wish I would have gone back, but we ran out of time. What a gem of a place! Robert's Western World was a lifesaver. Fantastic live music that wasn't just the same ol' covers, burgers that came straight out of a well-loved dive, and friendly, attentive staff.
Great atmosphere as well. Definitely got too packed for my tastes at night but if you got a hankering for some good music and a reasonably priced beer to escape from the mediocrity, this is the place to be.
Robert's Western World is the Honky Tonk that most of the locals actually go it and isn't overally tourstic. We went with friends and it was packed. The food is dirt cheap compared to most of the places on Broadway.
Lots of people in the bar ordered the cocktails too. The drink and food is average but the price is fantastic. The staff is swamped, so you need to be patiant when it comes to ordering, getting the check etc. But everyone is friendly. The live music was great! Really talented bands with friends and family who turn up to support them so it feels a lot more homey and fun.
The bar is all about the music so they try not to distract from it with fancy lights, effects, or gimmicks. We also found that the music was quiet diverse and loved the variety.
Highly recommened! Food was good, quality of music very good. My only concern is the volume of the music. One band member claimed it was the amplifiers. I'm pretty sure they have a volume know. You shouldn't have to yell to be heard at a table when you are furthest away from the band.
The staff loved the T since the design is no longer available. The friendly staff provided excellent service. Lunch menu was limited but we were here for history and music. Cheese Curds! Will return. Amazing old school honky tonk! All ages during the day, which was nice since we had our 9 yo in tow.
My husband ordered their "recession special" and said it was delicious! Our server was super sweet and the resident singer and band was awesome! My favorite Honky Tonk on Broadway. Plus, they have some of the best drink prices in town. We found Robert's on our first day in Nashville.
We had already visited a few of the huge multi-level places. Robert's was a breath of fresh air! Old school country music and an awesome laid-back atmosphere.
Please try the food when you are there. It is great too. Don't miss Robert's if you travel to Nashville. Very friendly and courteous bartenders even though they were extremely busy.
Lots of pretty girls dancing, good country music, friendly staff, and full bar. Mentioned on 4 lists. Hamburger restaurant. Beer garden. This throwback-style establishment attracts a constant crowd with its traditional American burgers, which stand out amidst current culinary trends.
While they occasionally experiment with unique menu items like the falafel burger, their farm burger remains a classic favorite—a beef patty topped with bacon and a fried egg. My wife and I decided to check out The Pharmacy for lunch yesterday, OMG! Their food is AMAZING!! My wife got the White Oak BBQ Burger, she said it was probably the best BBQ sauce she's ever had.
I had the Stroganoff Burger, and the combo of creamy mushroom sauce, sour cream and caramelized onions was simply PERFECT! The hand-cut fries were also incredible! The staff and overall vibe was great as well.
Our new favorite Nashville burger spot!! This place is truly a gem! We were all amazed at how good it is! I tried a bite of my husbands regular burger, which was delicious too!
Great service and unique sodas too. I had the raspberry ginger, which I loved. Highly highly recommend! My 1st time there, went with my family to celebrate my Grandson birthday. We all ordered a cheeseburger wuth fries, potato salad and tater tots.
The burgers will be cooked well done unless you ask for something else. I enjoyed my meal the most because I ordered mine medium. The wait staff was the best ever and the Beer Garden is the place to sit and eat. Very good burgers and equally great service. The food arrived 5 minutes after ordering.
They were not busy. For arrived out and amazing! The staff was very accommodating and very kind. Customer service was rare meaning you don't normally get great service anymore.
They know what servicing a customer is all about. Thank you. I had a great experience today. We were greeted pleasantly by two young ladies who asked our seating preference.
He recommended the Smash Burger and my friend had the Pharmacy Burger. Joe recommended the Bourbon Lemonade which I think went along great with our meal. Everyone we encountered was really awesome today and I give The Pharmacy my highest recommendation! The food does not live up to the hype.
The beer garden is beautiful and the service is great. The food, though, was okay at best. I had the falafel burger, which was dry and bland. My husband had a regular burger, which he said was okay. Sweet potato fries were also blah.
We sat on the patio - it was lovely! Shaded by lovely trees and umbrellas. It would be great in the evenings or at night as they have stings of patio lights. Casual atmosphere - picnic table style seating.
The food was great! Three of us had burgers, one had a brat. I had the salmon burger yum! Fries were good, sides were tasty - I had the black bean and corn salad. Great selection of beverages - both non and alcoholic.
We will be back! We were hungry! Sorry no food photos. The outdoor area is really cool. It can be a long wait on the weekends but if you like burgers and beer it's worth it. The ingredients were fresh and fries are delicious.
They have lots of fun sauces to try on your burger. A couple of things to know I wish they had big pieces of lettuce for a no bun option on a burger.
They only have shredded lettuce. The beef patties aren't very big either for the price. The music was very loud and hard to have group conversations inside. But overall it's a hip and cool atmosphere. When we planned our visit to Nashville, one burger joint that kept coming up as a "must visit" was "The Pharmacy".
Long story short, it does not disappoint. This location seems like it's an odd spot, but inside especially the backyard is great. When we came in after a tired and weary day, we chose the inside just to be quick.
Then we glanced outside and asked our server, Georgianna, moved us outside. The burgers and Octoberfest beer really hit the spot for a late October afternoon, and Georgianna really went above and beyond to take care of us outside, and not in her usual "zone".
Overall the service, food and atmosphere are great, and this is one of those classic Nashville spots you need to add to your "can't miss" list.
Was easy to find parking on the street. Had the choice to dine inside or outside. The coleslaw was average. The German potato salad came out warm, so kind of different from the potato salads I'm used to. The potato salad was also very "watery".
I'd choose tots or fries over the other sides next time. My first time here and I fell in love with the atmosphere here. The beer was good, food was even better and the vibe was mind blowing on a good-weather day! Service was great, staff was good and I love the garden setting.
I was able to find street parking close by. I tried this spot because of the reviews, but l wasn't impressed. Service was fine but I had the chicken burger, which was underwhelming. A thin pattie that was engulfed by bread. The fries were tasty, although not as warm as i would have preferred.
You may have a better experience if you have a regular burger. Great Food and One of the Best Beer Gardens Anywhere! We spent the afternoon and early evening hitting the honky-tonks on Broadway and decided to get some real food in a relaxed setting so we searched out this place.
Out back is one of the prettiest beer gardens I've ever seen. Lots of picnic tables separated by low hedges, many trees and warm lighting after dark.
Rain was in the forecast for that night so we chose to sit inside. We took up our seats at the end of one of the indoor picnic tables and met some great folks at the other end of our table. They offered menu pointers as this is one of their favorite places. The bar has everything and quite an extensive list of beers with many on tap and many more in bottles or cans.
Forewarned by our table mates about the large portion sizes, we skipped the appetizers and went for the entrees. My wife loved it! All of their sausages are made in-house so I had to go that way. I also dipped my wursts into horseradish and beer garden mustards.
This was the best of the wurst! A great sampler with each sausage having its own flavor. We stuck up conversations with even more people near us and had a great evening. I can't wait to visit again and try a seat out in the biergarten.
Came here at pm on a Monday for a drink in what they claim is a beer garden. We sat down and were immediately reprimanded by two employees who said we couldn't sit at tables if we ordered drinks at the bar.
We were instead subjected to the deep corner of the so-called beer garden where they keep their dirty and broken furniture. We were told if we ordered drinks from the table it wouldn't have been a problem, but apparently if you order at the bar like the host told us to do you are trash.
A beer garden is supposed to be an informal place to drink beer outside. What they have is a restaurant with outdoor seating, but they don't market it as such. We were literally treated like second-class citizens.
You know the best part? We were going to order food and a few more drinks but left after the one drink. Was it really worth it? Also, bearing in mind they were completely empty at on a Monday, I promise they weren't going to get busy.
Not at any time that day. So what harm were we causing? Really appalling service. Don't go here if you want to be treated with respect. They'll take your money and kick you in the face. Also, they claim to have creative burgers. There's nothing creative on the menu.
Spend your money someplace else. Atmosphere, staff are super friendly. Great outdoor settings. The ingredients and everything else made it amazing still. Beer 🍺 tasty as well and fresh. American restaurant. Originally a popular food truck, they have now expanded to a brick-and-mortar location.
This restaurant takes the classic childhood favorite and elevates it to new heights by incorporating unique twists. A must try! This is not a typical grilled cheese sandwich, they have specialty melts with ingredients like cranberry jam to grilled cheese stuffed full of mac and cheese cause you can never have to much cheese.
You can design your own with any of the cheeses including a vegan cheese and finish it if with several other filings that they offer. Of course you cannot forget to try one of their milkshakes. The Hopscotch is my favorite, it features their house made banana butterscotch.
My wife and I visited The Grilled Cheeserie after a day of touring Nashville. We arrived about before the place got busy. We ordered our food at a counter at the rear of the restaurant. A menu board behind the counter clearly outlines the restaurant's offerings. It's a sandwich made on multigrain bread with white cheddar cheese, thick cut crispy bacon, and caramelized apple shallot jam.
The sweetness of the jam plays nicely with the salty, savory bacon, and the bread had great taste and texture. Add the gooey deliciousness of the cheese, and the result was an outstanding grilled cheese sandwich!
Along with my sandwich I ordered old fashioned tomato soup. The soup was creamy and full-flavored. It wasn't overly sweet, but tasted natural and homemade. My wife ordered homemade chips and French onion dip.
The chips are crunchy and are good all by themselves, but the French onion dip complimented the chips well. As for beverages, my wife got lemonade with strawberry preserves, which she really enjoyed, and I ordered an unsweetened iced tea.
The tea was clear, crisp, and refreshing. The staff at The Grilled Cheeserie were friendly and professional, the restaurant was squeaky clean including the restroom , the atmosphere was inviting, and the food was delicious. The Grilled Cheeserie serves upscale comfort food at its best, and we're glad we stopped by!
Love eating here! The food is delicious and such a treat. Parking is difficult and you will need to walk a little. If you don't arrive early, you will most likely have to wait in line.
This place is always busy. They take food allergies seriously and eveerything is very fresh. Make sure you are standing in the right line. The Biscuit Love people always have a line and the two lines can be hard to distinguish sometimes.
So many yummy grilled cheese options, including vegetarian selections. The homemade chips were absolutely delicious with ranch. We also loved the tic tac toe games for entertainment, while waiting. We will definitely return! Delicious grilled cheese sandwich. it was very lights. So I had the food truck quite a few times and was excited to check out the restaurant.
I'll be honest, and I wasn't a huge fan. The grilled cheese is just fine. They aren't anything groundbreaking. I also wasn't a huge fan of the milkshake either. Totally overpriced and wasn't grand.
It's such a generic place that feel so overpriced for no reason. You can make this stuff at home for a fraction of the price as meer minutes.
We went during lunch on a week day and it wasn't busy at all. Overall, okay, nothing special and maybe a one-time experience, but otherwise don't see myself coming back. I wish I could have eaten more because I wanted to try everything. The chips and ranch were so delicious.
We had the Pizza Melt and the Quesabirria Melt. Both are a nice novelty, albeit the pizza melt could be replicated quite easily at home. Both are quite good, even if a bit pricey for what it is; however it doesn't feel too expensive considering it is a grilled cheese restaurant, a novelty in itself.
Parking in the area is a bit rough, and the pay stations were broken in the larger lot. Was greeted by a very pleasant young lady that helped me navigate the menu for the first time. She suggested the cheesy tots to go with my Buffalo south… bacon and jalapeño relish, yes please!
It was legitimately perfect. My chocolate chip cookie at the end just made it all that much better. Great job tonight TGC. Absolutely delicious and definitely worth it. Stopped here on the way through for lunch and don't regret it.
I had the build your own and got the rosemary garlic bread with white cheddar, chicken, tomatoes, spinach, and herb mustard. It was absolutely delicious, the best grilled cheese I've ever had.
I also got a side of the Buffalo tots to share, and they were so good! Definitely better than I expected tbh. I did get the strawberry lemonade to drink, but it wasn't my favorite. A little too tart for my liking. I did grab a peanut butter milkshake to go and it makes my Top 5 of best milkshakes ever.
And definitely the best peanut butter one I've ever had! The service was friendly and prompt, we didn't wait long at all, and the food was delicious. This restaurant was near where we were staying so figured we'd give it a try for lunch.
